Large folio (37 cm) in green publisher’s cloth, gilt titles and decorations, a.e.g. Ten hand-coloured tissue-guarded lithographs of various Canadian wild flowers displayed as stylized bouquets (as distinct from technical representations of the plants’ physiology) are featured in this sumptuously produced flower book. This is the second issue of Wild Flowers, the first being slightly earlier, produced in the first year of Confederation and not as highly finished. Minor repairs to edges, one back corner discoloured. Comes with conservator’s report. A clean, bright, sound copy. Price: $1200.00
