First edition (pp. 210). Large quarto (36 cm) in tan cloth, gilt titles, pictorial endpapers. A picture album with over 200 photos depicting work of the project, some in colour, map. Presentation copy to the author and engineer George M. Douglas signed by Paul Grafe (?), S. D. Bechtel, C. Price. Minor damage to lower spine, cloth a bit sun-faded; a Very Good copy.
