Articles on local geology, mosses and liverworts, birds, former inhabitants, fishes, slime molds, etc. The Canadian Institute was founded in 1849 by Sandford Fleming, among others, as a centre for scientific and technical studies. Our copy bears the seal of the Institute central on the cover. Coloured map with some repairs, hinges a bit tender but holding firm. An uncommon title. Very Good
