Small quarto ( 23 cm), softcover with photo portrait of Comeau (1848- 1923) as frontis, many additional photos-- lynx in a trap, three golden eagles nailed to the side of a shed, sports with their trophies. Ms notes on a controversy arising among Canadian Field Naturalists during 1924 in connection with Comeau’s legacy, occasional notations in the text apropos that reputation as shown. Hinges neatly re-enforced with tape, a few spots here and there. A very good copy.
