Accounts of Beebe's travels through Borneo, Ceylon, Malaya, the Himalayas, Burma, and China in search of the Burmese Peacock, Amherst Pheasant, Golden Pheasant, Impeyan Pheasant, White Peacock, etc. Beebe was, among others, Curator of the New York Zoological Park and Fellow of the American Ornithological Union.
