Quarto (22 cm) in half green morocco over marbled paper, gilt titles to spine, gilt decoration, five raised bands, matching marbled endpapers. Illustrated with one hundred fine hand-coloured lithographs (Nos. 1601- 1700 in the series), each accompanied by a paragraph or two of commentary on the natural history, cultivation, etc., of the flowering plant. Large paper edition, impressions measure 17.5 cm (h) x 10.5 cm (w), generous margins. Minor edge wear to binding; otherwise a fine copy. Price: $600.00
