New edition, revised and enlarged (pp. adverts, title page, two coloured plates (Linnaean classification); introduction (9- 32); entries No. 49- 96, fifty-nine fine coloured lithographs, tissue guards, each accompanied by four pages of letterpress including notes on biological description, natural history, medical users. Large octavo (24 cm) in brown publisher's cloth, gilt titles to spine. The second volume of the Cambridge issue, presumably 1854, as a note on 'removal' in the preliminaries suggests (Good removed from Elizabethtown, New Jersey, to Cambridge, Massachusetts, at about this time. Binding worn at the edges as usual; otherwise clean, bright, and sound.
