Seller ID: 1543 London: John Murray, 1847. Third edition, illustrated by engravings and woodcuts from designs by Edwin and Charles Landseer, and the Author (pp. xix, 431, adverts). Tall octavo (22 cm), recased in green cloth preserving original fine gilt decorative image of a deer to the front cover and a hound to the rear cover; new endpapers; spine with original gilt titles and decoration laid down. Sadly, absent the frontispiece and title vignette. A very good copy. Price: $120.00
