Seller ID: 1462 London: N. Bailey, 1724. Early edition (pp. viii, 608, index) in full contemporary calf with impressed decoration, five raised bands. A survivor schoolbook and looks it-- hinges weak or broken but threads holding, edges and covers worn, tips worn through; absent epps and half title, previous (student) owners' names in ink fore and aft; text oddly unmarked but discoloured here and there throughout. Still, an interesting example of a schoolbook from the first quarter of the eighteenth century. Price: $75.00
