Moonbeam: Penumbra Press. Quarto (20 cm). Northward Journal, the successor to Boreal, was produced to a high standard by The Porcupine's Quill Press, featured literary and art work (especially black and white sketches) on northern themes, and intended, as the editor says, "to restore some of the original prestige and quality to graphics in black and white." (Later issues, however, were characterized by literary text accompanied by sometimes banal b&w photographs.) Special issue on the 'Development of David Pugh'. Clean and tight.
