With a large fold-out plan and a variety of full-page and in-text illustrations-- over 100 photographs, sketches, engravings, etc. German text. Von Klinckowstroem (1884- 1969) was a German research scientist who wrote about parapsychological subjects. He was a corresponding member of the Society for Psychical Research, London, and an honorary member of Deutscher Erfinder-Verband, Nuremberg. He was critical of many claims of psychic phenomena, astrology, witchcraft, and parapsychology. Von Klinckowstroem published several books on science, e.g., Geschichte der Technik (History of Technology), and several books on paranormal subjects. Wraps with a few nibbles and tiny tears here and there. Generally clean and tight. A scarce book.
